Science helps us to investigate new avenues to allow us to continue to obtain products of extraordinary, unmistakeable quality without affecting their hand-crafted, artisanal nature.

We take part in studies that show the health-giving properties of Cinco Jotas jamón and we investigate new ways of preserving and presenting our products.
We also innovate, working together with haute cuisine in cookery schools, exploring new techniques to enjoy Cinco Jotas delicacies.

INSPIRATION

Cinco Jotas is a global ambassador of Spanish gastronomy. Cinco Jotas has inspired many works of art that transcend taste to reach all five senses. Excellence and haute cuisine go hand in hand with culture and art, and therefore Cinco Jotas shares common ground with various artists who promote Spanish talent and culture both within and outside Spain.
This has led to our collaboration with several Spanish designers such as Oteyza, the men's fashion designer that, just like Cinco Jotas, perfectly represents the balance between tradition and modernity.

The company has previously collaborated with numerous artists and fashion designers including Ángel Schlesser, Pepa Reverter, Tito Merello and Carmen García Huerta.

We take an active role in national and international haute cuisine: Cinco Jotas is a standard bearer for Spanish luxury gourmet food, delighting the palates of the finest chefs all over the world and is an icon of Spanish gastronomy.

We work with the Basque Culinary Center, a world leading gastronomic institution, with recognised chefs and with the prestigious organisation, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, which publishes an annual list of the 100 best restaurants in the world.

We were pioneers in achieving the highest quality: Black Label certification. Only 1% of all the hams cured in Spain belong to this category of 100% Iberian acorn-fed pork.
Our master jamoneros care for each piece with patience, passion and mastery over a period of up to five years to ensure their excellence.

It is the culmination of a completely artisanal process in which every detail determines exceptional quality and a sublime taste experience.
